Poundland Foundation Brush Review

Hi Bloggers,

I brought myself a foundation brush at Poundland. This is my first foundation brush as I usually apply foundation with a blusher brush. I am ashamed to admit this but I was under the impression that any brush could do the job.

Once I did my research, I discovered that foundation needs to be applied with a foundation brush. 

As I do not wear foundation often and I do not have a lot of money, I brought my foundation brush for £1.

This brush was very soft and applied the foundation evenly. I would recommend this brush to other foundation lovers who are on a tight budget. 

The pretty pink tip is now covered with foundation. I am happy with this brush.

Review: Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top coat

This is a review on a nail polish I brought 2 years ago. I brought it to strengthen my nails. It did not strengthen my nails. My nails are still weak and they continue to peel. In order for you to protect and strengthen your nails with this polish, you must paint your nails everyday. I do not have time to do this everyday as I feel it should provide protection for at least up to 5 days.

Recently, I found a good use of this polish. I am now using it as a base and top coat for when I am doing my manicures. It adds shine to my nail polishes, however my nails still continue to peel.

I would recommend this nail polish to someone who has strong, healthy nails and are looking for both a base and top coat all in one polish.

Overall, I rate this product 1/5. Purely because I wanted a nail polish that could strengthen my nails and this polish did not live up to my expectations.

Achieve The Look: Vanessa Hudgens

It has been a long while since I have done an achieve the look post. Today I have decided to do this post on Vanessa Hudgens. I admire her style and I think she always looks good. She dresses in a bohemian style. I totally like this style and I think it suits her very well.

"Don't Be Too Quick To Judge!"

 I am happy to be blogging in my spare time. I enjoy it and I enjoy reading other blogs too. This post will be an update on me and I will be sharing my latest outfit of the day.

As you can see, I have my hair in single plaits. It is so easy to manage now. I do not have to bother with it in the mornings. I can just tie it up, instead of spending half an hour on my hair. However, it took me forever to braid my hair. I hope you like this hairstyle. You can see pictures of it below:

I also have a new pair of glasses. I love them, they are designer. They are a bigger frame to what I usually wear but I think they suit me well.

I brought this raspberry and pomegranate shower burst from Home Bargains. It smells so good and I love washing with it.

Scented Candals: Store Twenty One

I have always wanted to purchase candals for my bedroom. I saw these candals in store twenty one for 99p each and I had to buy them which I have yet to try out. I will once my room has been finished decorated and cleared out of unwanted junk.

NOTD-Pink Cream

I received a pack of La Femme Beauty nail polishes for Christmas two years ago. I have not really used them as I already own too many nail polishes and it is sometimes difficult to find time to paint my nails very often. 

                       

In this post, I am wearing La Femme Beauty Pink Cream nail polish. I applied 2 coats of polish. I think this is a pretty colour if you want to go for something more neutral.

                        

It was very difficult to capture the label with my camera as the label print is not very bold.

Ringlets and make-up of the day

I was not sure if I was going to blog about my ringlet curls but I thought why not?

The curls were really cute, I did not have to do much to my hair except for putting a headband in the front of my hair.

I did another neutral eye again but paired it with pink lips instead. I am addicted to neutral eye shadows now. It's simple and it suits any look. You can view the pictures below:
