This post is a little different to the posts that I usually do. In my posts I usually try to focus on perfection, such as make-up pictures or fashion pictures. I am always focusing on looking my best on my blog.
However this post is showing the thinning of my hair. It has took me a lot of courage to post this as I have been ignoring the problem for years. I do think my hair looks rather thicker on camera but in person, I do have really thin edges.
A lot of black women suffer with this problem. Mainly those that do not keep their hair natural but damage it by bleaching, perming or dying their hair.
However, I started a Edges hair challenge in February 2014. I would religiously oil my edges day and night with 'Profective Mega Growth n Healing Anti-Thinning Stimulant'. I was not expecting a drastic change but I was hoping it would help the hair to grow in the bald spots.
I was not going to do a post about my challenge but I thought it would be a good idea to share with you all the results. It is now the 18th of May 2014. If you scroll down, you will see the before and after photos of my edges and you can tell me what you think of the results.

It is still quite thin at the front but not as thin as before.

A lot of hairs have grown back since using this product but my edges are still thin. I am slowly getting my hair line back.

Now (The Right Side)
On this side, a lot of hair has grown back but I still have a long way to go. I will continue to keep moisturising my edges and hope they will eventually get thicker.
Do you have problems with your edges too?
What do you use on your edges?
Do you have any tips for me that can help my edges to grow?
Thank you for reading :)

Some better quality photos would help me to be a better judge.

@Ashleigh Barnes: I apologise for the quality. I used my mobile phone to take these pictures.
