New lipsticks and lip gloss.

Today I went shopping for black lipstick but instead I ended up buying more than one lipstick and lip glosses. I used to dislike black lipstick because I thought it gave a dark, rocky look but for some reason, I have been wanting to try it out lately. Especially after seeing it more often in magazines and photo shoots. The darkest lip colour I have ever used on my lips was purple lipstick so I am willing to experiment with black lipstick now.

Gosh Eyebrow Clear Gel

I decided to try out this Gosh clear eyebrow gel because I am tired of brushing my eyebrows into place and seeing them all messy by the end of the day. I have tried out this gel and it is brilliant and it keeps my eyebrows in place. I will certainly buy it again as it is affordable.

My new buys

Hey bloggers, 

Today I brought two cute buys for the summer. I brought a bright hot pink maxi skirt and a cut out bralet which I am excited to wear out.

Price: £10

The skirt is much brighter in person. I really love the colour of this skirt. I will be looking forward to wearing it when the weather gets warmer. The only thing I am disappointed with is the length and the elastic band at the top of the skirt.

Being a petite size, it is difficult for me to wear anything as I have problems with jeans being too long on the legs, etc. Well it turns out that the maxi skirt is also too long so I will have to maybe cut it to my length. Hopefully you will see it in future 'OOTD posts'. Also the elastic band at the top of the skirt only sits well on my hips so if I wanted wear the skirt as a high waist maxi skirt, then I couldn't because the elastic band then becomes loose above my hips which is disappointing.

Price: £12.

I was also disappointed with this top but decided to keep it. It appeared loose on me and the st-raps were way too long so I had to cut and sew the straps to fit me. The only problem is finding a bra to wear with this top because you can see the bra at the side of the top. 

However stay in tune to see a future 'ootd' with this top.

NOTD: Colourful leopard print nails

Here is my notd. I wanted to do something different instead of just painting my nails in just one colour. I wanted to do a leopard print nail design so I could play around with the colours. I painted the background in grey nail polish and coloured the spots in purple and pink

Pink and purple smokey eyes

Hello make-up fans,

Today I decided to stop experimenting with neutral eye make-up and go back to bright colours. It was a risk for me to take as I had not been brave enough to wear bright colours on my eyes since I have dyed my hair. But guess what, it worked and I loved it! I will definitely be wearing bright eye make-up more often.

The reason I called this make-up look 'Pink and purple smokey eyes' is because I could not think of anything else to call it. I love the combination of pink and purple and I think it is a great make-up look for a party or a special occasion. Both are pretty colours and go together very well. I paired this look with a soft pink lipstick.

OOTD: Shorts in Spring

Hello everyone!

Today I am showing you my spring outfit. I have always wanted to pair these leather shorts with my jumper and today was the perfect day. I wore it with my blazer and wedge heels. I felt really stylish that day.

I also received some good news that day too and I was so happy. I felt like I could fly up to the sky. I do not mean to get religious but I thank YHWH for helping me get the good news. I am so grateful! In years to come, when I look back at this post. I will smile and remember this day for the rest of my life.

Shopping haul: Superdrug, H&m and Select.

Hola a todos!

Spring is finally here and all I can see is so many new trends out there. I look into my wardrobe and I don't see any of the spring items I am lusting for.

So I decided to go shopping. I have not been shopping for a long while and my aim was to buy the new pink blazer in H&M. For some reason I have been buying a lot of pink lately. I guess it is nice and bright and it keeps me away from buying black clothing all the time.

In the end I did not buy the pink blazer but I brought a few other items instead. The pictures follow below.

The two rings I brought was from H&m. They were £2.99 each and I thought they were really cute.

The items I got above were from the Superdrug sale. It was a lip gloss lip pencil and a pink gosh nail polish. They were both £3. Every time I go into Superdrug, I always buy make-up I do not need. But guess what? I do not regret it because the lip gloss pencil was amazing. It moisturises my lips and helps lipsticks apply on smoothly. I certainly will be buying more in the future.

This is one of my favorites. I purchased this chiffon shirt from Select for £12. It is really cheap compared to the prices at Topshop and Miss Selfridges. So I could not help but buy it because I have always wanted a shirt like this.It is so cute, it has a tie bow at the front. I cannot wait to wear this!

Lastly, I brought these two skirts from h&m. Both were £3.99. One is navy and cream stripes and the other is black and white stripes. Can I just apologise for them being so creased. These skirts are a must-have and are a reasonable price. They are fitted and look nice on.
